As mother and daughter, we
have been working together to facilitate women's healing
and empowerment for the last 8 years. Using Crystal’s
highly effective energy based approach that integrates
somatic psychology, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, body-mind
awareness and systems thinking, women are given
individualized practices to transform self-limiting
habits, beliefs, and relationship dynamics. The wounds
of the past and how we survived them no longer have to
define who we think we are and unconsciously influence
our life choices.

Rhiannon Surrenda, M.A.
Co-Founder and Facilitator
At 17 years old, Rhiannon became a youth educator,
wanting to make a difference for the youth of her
community. This covered topics from self-esteem to
sexuality and drug and alcohol education, laying the
foundation for her counseling work with “at-risk” youth
at the Contra Costa Probation department, as well as the
Log Cabin Juvenile Detention Facility. Recognized for
her teaching ability, Rhiannon was asked to be a student
teacher in the Sociology department at San Francisco
State University. She then moved into co-facilitating
Being In Action leadership groups, further developing
her strength as a teacher/facilitator of women on their
path to empowerment. With a B.A. in Psychology from SFSU,
an M.A. in Organizational Psychology and a Graduate
Certificate in Conflict Management both from JFKU,
Rhiannon worked for two consulting firms, The Leadership
Edge and Real Change Network as a Training and Research
Associate. She assisted in International Learning
Expeditions, Executive team-building and Leadership
Seminars and geographically dispersed team research and
trainings. Rhiannon expresses her passion and creativity
